Whether it’s documenting a pregnancy, a new baby, a milestone, or the phase your family is in right now, it’s special and worthwhile to me. I believe in giving space to the parts of life that feel transformative, as well as the ones that feel mundane.
HONORING EVERY DAY MOMENTS
I know the feeling of treasuring your pregnancy experience, even through the difficult moments, because it might only happen once or twice.
I know the feeling of marveling at the tiny new life you created and then looking back a month or two later and marveling again at how quickly they change.
I know the feeling of watching your kids grow both in height and personality, faster than you thought they would, and wishing they could stay little while also admiring who they’re becoming.
This is why I offer photography. Because we all can take the phone pictures, and then they stay on the phone and pile up. But what’s different about a professional session is that you actually take the time to be present in your moment. And to be in the frame yourself. To look back on the high quality images and be filled with gratitude for what you’ve been through and the life you are living.

Fiona is the photographer, doula, and childbirth educator at Fiona Schubeck Photography and Full Story Birth.
As a photographer she celebrates and honors families in the transformative year of pregnancy, birth, and newborn life, and provides meaningful images of real life for families as they grow.
She has been supporting families in the perinatal year since 2011 as a doula and educator. Since the birth of her third child in early 2026 she has shifted her support of families from hands-on, on-call style support, to providing compassionate and artistic imagery for families, in celebration of their real life story.
Session Types
PREGNANCY
Honor your growing body, your growing family, and the new life to come. In-home or outdoors, pregnancy sessions can be solo, with a partner or friend, or with your whole family.
NEWBORN
In-home sessions when your baby is new and time takes on a new meaning. Clothing optional, these sessions can focus on the postpartum parents just as much as the newborn.
FAMILY
Celebrate a special occasion in your family story, or just a regular Sunday! These casual sessions document you and your crew in whatever season you are in!
FRESH 48
Some of the most transformational days of your life will be the days you birth your baby and begin to get to know them. This on-call session type takes place wherever you end up giving birth, and documents the story however it unfolds.
